What is VOLTE
VOLTE stands for Voice over LTE. Note that LTE is a type of data transmission that is faster than the previous 2g and 3g transmissions. Think of 3G as a cable that allows some of your data to pass through it. Now think of LTE as a larger cable that allows more data to pass through at a faster rate. Now imagine you get an even larger cable that now allows both your voice calls and your data to pass through at the same time and a faster rate.
You may want to enable access to VOLTE on your phone as it ensures that you have both a seamless data and voice experience while using your phone network. Some networks boast that it makes it seem that you are speaking with the other person face to face. Your calls will be connected faster and more efficiently and wont be disconnected often. VoLTE is instrumental for both business and personal use. To turn on VoLTE is to go to your settings, use the search option to search for “VOLTE” and toggle the switch to on. If you prefer the long way, then on Android phones-ho to settings, Wi-Fi & Network, Sim and Network, click on the sim card you are using, then turn on VoLTE. On an iPhone, go to Settings, then Cellular, make sure the Cellular Data is “on”, choose Cellular Data Options, then Voice & Data. Make sure the LTE is selected (has a checkmark), then turn on VoLTE by using the slider.
